Introduction to Metal Clay Classes
Learn how to work with metal clay in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
Sculpt custom metal jewelry with your bare hands! In week one you’ll make charms and pendants with bronze clay powder. In week two, we’ll finish the pieces and discuss the technical aspects of firing all types of metal clay, including silver.
Location: River Day School, 116 W Indiana Ave. Spokane, WA 99205.
Cost: $55. 30 grams of clay and all supplies are included, but you are welcome to bring any clay tools, texture sheets, rubber stamps or other jewelry supplies you’d like to use.
Time: Wednesdays from 6-8 pm. Dates TBD.

Metal Clay Classes – private groups
Want to learn how to make jewelry with metal clay? I offer small group lessons at the location of your choice. Prices vary based on number of attendees, class length and amount of clay used.
Generally, two sessions work best: one for creating your metal clay jewelry pieces, and a follow-up to polish and finish your pieces after I’ve fired them in my kiln. However, we can do it all in one day too! Please email cindy@gogoshebogo.com to figure out the details.
Note: Due to the expense, I have not pursued certification, so am not authorized to teach PMC or Art Clay Silver. However, almost all of the techniques you will learn with copper and/or bronze clay are directly applicable to silver clay. Cinter™ metal clay powder is a great way to gain confidence before investing in expensive precious metal clay!
Jewelry Design Parties
Host a girl’s night in and create fantastic jewelry! You can choose to have everyone bring their own beads, or tell me what you have in mind and I’ll create a kit for each participant. Options include earrings, charm bracelets, beaded necklaces, custom stamped metal and resin photo pendants. I can customize the skill level to suit absolute beginners and advanced jewelry makers!
A jewelry class is a great alternative or add-on to a bridal shower, graduation party, birthday or other event where you’d like your guests to leave with a special keepsake.
